This place was perfect for our girls trip. We will definitely be coming back. Loved all the animals, beautiful scenery, best of all very quiet.
We stopped on our bike tour on the Mickelson trail. Everything was great, lots of little touches like having some disposable plates and such, nice bathrooms and hot showers with towels available. And the kids loved the animals!
This was a great place to stay. It's a fun site well off the beaten path with many amenities. The owners were kind and easy to work with and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Book a stay and enjoy!
Joyce (the owner) was incredibly kind and hospitable to us. She made it feel like home. The campground was full of amenities like a fire pit, bathrooms and showers, electrical outlets and more. Dream come true for my Dad and I as we were tired after a long day of biking.
This place was so much fun! My kids loved the farm animals, and the cottages. They were outside from the time they got up, til they laid down. They wanted to stay longer! Joyce, the owner, was more than accommodating with a small issue, that was completely out of her hands. Short drive into Lead, and far enough to relax, in the quiet of the country. We came from Ga., and this was the best place, we stayed during our trip in S Dakota.
This place exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely beautiful. The couple owning the establishment was beyond hospitable and made us feel so welcome. Definitely hope to come back someday.
This place is simply wonderful for those biking the Mickelson Trail. The cottages were perfect for a family of 4. While simple, they were extremely well stocked and comfortable. Access to the kitchen was a huge bonus! Our kids loved the selection of movies after a long day of biking. Shower felt amazing!
This place was perfect for us. It’s a little bit more camping. In fact it has plenty of tent sites available, and the cottages are bunkhouse style with a separate bathhouse. Owner is friendly and kind. Beautiful and tremendous property right on the McNichol Trail perfect for an overnight or longer stay
